Reviews on Jyoti108 come only from people who bought or completed what they review. We publish every genuine review, whatever its rating.
Only a registered reader, and only about something they received: a delivered PDF report, a course after its 7th day, or an answer. Readers of the day message may also rate it after 14 days of receiving it. Such reviews carry the badge «Verified purchase» (or «Verified reader» for something received for free). We ask every reader for a star rating in the same way, whatever they think of us.
Every genuine review, from 1 to 5 stars, after a check that usually takes up to 72 hours. The average and the distribution count every rating, including ratings without text and reviews the author did not want shown. A review appears only if its author agreed to publication, with their first name or without it.
We remove a text only for one of the reasons below, and apply them the same way to a 5-star and a 1-star review. The rating of a review removed for its wording still counts; only a review that is not a genuine experience leaves the average.
If a review shows someone's personal data (a phone number, a birth date, another person's chart), we remove just that part and mark the review «Edited by a moderator». The author's original stays with us.
We reply in public, especially to critical reviews. When a review led to a real change, we add «What we changed» with the date of the change. We never ask anyone to change their rating.
We do not pay or reward anyone for a review, and do not write reviews ourselves or ask staff and friends to.
Sometimes a reader sends us a review in a chat or by e-mail. We publish it only with the author's consent, which we keep on file, mark it «Transferred review, checked by us» and never call it a verified purchase. We never write reviews ourselves.
You can change or remove your review at any time in the app: Profile → Help → Your review. Removing your account removes your reviews with it.
